Brief Itinerary
Arrival at Dong Hoi domestic airport, meet our guide and driver then transfer to the hotel.
The rest of time is free at your leisure.
Overnight in Dong Hoi
Breakfast at the hotel before start for an exciting day full of outdoor activities. You will embark a cycling tour with the local tour guide and discover the National Park through paths hidden beside Limestone Mountains and friendly villages. Stop to burn incense and listen to a story about the local ladies’ sacrifice at Eight Ladies Cave, then you will visit Paradise Grotto – the Asia’s longest grotto with magical beauty of stalactites and stalagmites. Lunch will be served at the service area in Paradise Grotto.
In the afternoon, you will continue trekking then go kayaking on pristine Chay River and discover Dark Cave, as you have the chance to admire the birds, butterflies and dragonflies on the way to the meeting point and a chance to refresh yourself at a delightful swimming area.
You will transfer to your hotel and free time.
Overnight in Dong Hoi.
After breakfast, take upstream Son River to discover Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park then head to Phong Nha Grotto. Located in the World Natural Heritage of Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park, this amazing grotto is known as the second biggest one in Vietnam and possesses geological values formed over 500 million years ago. You will enjoy its spectacular beauty by your own eyes and have unforgettable experience in your Vietnam tour.
Drive to Hue. Stop on the way to visit Vinh Moc tunnels. Vinh Moc is the remains of a coastal North Vietnamese village that literally went underground in response to unremitting American bombing. Upon arrival Hue, check in hotel then free time at your leisure.
Overnight in Hue.
Hue is one of Viet Nam’s most cultural and historical cities once ruled by the Emperor of the Nguyen dynasty. This morning, you take time to visit the impressive tomb of King Minh Mang. Cruise on the Perfume River and to see the Old Thien Mu Pagoda. In the afternoon, you will visit the Forbidden Citadel and transfer to Hoi An. Stop on the way to visit Hai Van pass and Lang Co beach. Check in hotel and free to explore Hoi An town at night.
Overnight in Hoi An.
After breakfast, walking around Hoi An ancient town to the port where you will embark on the boat. From the boat, you can enjoy the busy daily life of Hoi An people. Continue to Thanh Ha pottery village where you can learn and enjoy the daily life of Thanh Ha people. Observe all the steps of making a pottery product: vase, pot, kettle, cooking pot,…embark on the boat to visit Kim Bong carpentry village, listen to the history of the village, come to visit the ship-building yards, see the handicrafts and sculptures.
Continue on, departs for the ancient Cham ruins of My Son. Once there, visit the Tra Kieu capital which was the former administration center of Champa Kingdom. Discover the majestic ancient ruins at My Son including ancient towers which were built from the fourth century.
Transfer to Hue in the late afternoon.
The rest of time is fee to walk in the old town, feel the atmosphere of its original culture, enjoy shopping for tailor clothing, lanterns, shoes and food, or simply relaxing on the beach.
Overnight in Hoi An.

Hoi An ancient town is where you can take an easy walk or cruise on a boat. Visiting Thanh Ha pottery village and Kim Bong carpentry village are also recommended. From here, you can head to My Son Sanctuary, the majestic ruins of Champa Kingdom, including ancient towers built from 4th century.
